Family Visits

Today we went to Naples to visit with Robby, Sara & Allie. We had a very nice visit and little Allie is getting more and more animated each time that I see her. She loves to lay on her changing table and look around and smile and coo. She had a bit of a noisy tummy today, maybe that was because her mommy ate a calzone last evening. Mommy likes it, but I don't think that Allie did.

My sister, Erin came to visit later this afternoon and stayed for dinner. We had a nice visit and she seemed to enjoy my husband's silly sense of humor. She is used to her silly brother-in-law by now.

Enjoy the photos.

Until next time......

Shopping w/Sara & Allie

Today Sara, Allie and I went shopping in Windham. We ended up at Marshalls. I found a pair of Capri's for myself, Sara found a summer jacket, Allie got some onsies, a pair of pants, a teddy bear and a towel with monkeys on it. Daddy is always calling her monkey so that towel was quite appropriate. We will take pictures and watch her grow with the teddy bear. I also got picture frames for the grandchildren's pictures.

Here I do believe that she is saying, " Hey, I am 5 weeks old."
Yes, she is 5 weeks old!
Here we are getting ready to go shopping and she is all snug in her car seat with her monkey shoulder straps. :)

Here she is with the new teddy bear and the monkey beach towel.

Of course Grammy has to give snuggles before leaving.
She just loves to make that cute little face. Her Auntie Tiff says she looks like a little birdie when she makes this face.

Speaking of Dan & Tiff, we are all anxiously awaiting Bennett's homecoming hopefully no later than August. He is such a handsome, perfect, sweet boy. I know that this Grammy and Grampy are so very anxious to give hugs and kisses and just whisper, "I love you" to him as well as Dan's parents. Bennett is a very well loved little boy and we will never ever let him forget that.

Until next time............

The Princess & The Angel Girl

Today is a day that I have been waiting for for quite a while. Finally after 1 1/2 year I got to wrap my arms around two very special little girls in my life, Kaylee and Alyssa, AKA The Princess and The Angel Girl. Kaylee being The Princess and Alyssa The Angel Girl. I met their mom, Danica, when Kaylee was only a few weeks old and they have all captured a special place in my heart from that day forward. They moved to Indiana 1 1/2 yr. ago and this is the girls first visit back. I've gotten to see them grow through pictures, phone calls and web cam, but nothing can compare to those hugs and kisses that I got today....priceless.

We all met at Sara & Robby's place and of course the girls and Danica were anxious to meet Allie. Allie was a bit cranky, we think it was because of the heat, but later on she did calm down and was actually smiling and I did snap a picture of her. Speaking of snapping pictures, Alyssa has become quite the little photographer. She took any of the above pictures that she is not in. Pretty good for a 5 year old! She runs my camera better than I do.

Here is a cute picture of Allie. She is already 1 month old today. Remember when we thought she was taking her sweet time getting here and now it's already been a month!! Her looks are already changing too - What a cutie pie.
I know, I forgot to take the red eye out - Oh well!

Until next time.........

A Father's Day First

Hello again,
Well we had a very nice Father's Day breakfast here today. It was Robby and Dan's first Father's Day and Mike's first Father's Day as a Grampy. Mike did most of the cooking, I started to cook the pancakes but Tiffany took over. She is a very good cook and gets that from Mike all the way, because it is certainly NOT from me. I do not like to cook and I am not afraid to admit it.

Maggie enjoyed her sleepover with Grammy and Grampy last night and her mommy only called, let's see, 2 times?! She must have been very tired because she slept all night long and did not get fidgety at all. Usually the cars going by will make her "on alert" and she will pick her head up and look around but not last night!! She just slept. Do ya think it might have been the Benadryl we gave her? Just kidding Tiff! She and Tasha even got along for a few moments this morning - and I mean a few moments - then it was back to Tasha being all stand-offish again.
I do not know what they are looking at but they seem to be very interested what ever may be out there. It was a cute moment though.

It was a very nice day. I love to be around family and so does Mike.

Happy Father's day to my dad, Paul, I love you.

Love,

Mare

Waiting For Maggie

Well my favorite K-9 is coming for a sleep over tonight, that's right Maggie is coming to Grammy's house and we are going to have fun. She'll get spoiled and she knows it too. Just look at her smiling already. Ha! Ha! She loves her Grammy. It won't be long and maybe Bennett can join her?! Let's just see if Mommy and Daddy go for that!!

I went to The Ultimate Yard Sale today in Gray. Not too bad, Kate and I each bought a couple of things but did not go overboard. It sure did tie up traffic though on Route 202 in Gray, but at least there were people there helping with that by directing traffic so that was good.

Tomorrow we will have everyone here for breakfast which will be nice. I love a big breakfast and I love to have everyone together. That is becoming more and more special to me the older I get.

Okay, here are a few more Allie pictures.......Are you surprised????

A Family Affair

Last evening we had a nice family gathering here. Mike's folks came down from "The County", Caribou to be exact, Tiff & Dan came over with Maggie of course, Sara, Robby & Allie came too. This was the first time that Great Grammie & Grampy LeVasseur got to see little Allie in person and I dare say that like the rest of us they were smitten by the little tyke. Is it any wonder why?

Auntie Tiffie was holding Allie and calming her down while Sara A.K.A. Mommy was eating and Allie was loving that! She was certainly very comfy in her auntie's arms and Tiff was very happy to have Allie in her arms. What a change from a few years ago when you would put a baby in Tiff's arms and she would be so stiff, now she is a natural. You go girl!!! Did Maggie teach you that? I will bet that Avery and Sophia had a hand in it. Either way, YOU ROCK TIFF. What a great mom you are.

Speaking of Maggie, she did a wonderful job last evening with everyone here. Grammy was very proud. She is a very well behaved K-9. I'm so glad that she was part of the group. This was the first time that she met Allie as well.
Sara and Robby are doing a great job as new parents and both seem very comfortable with Allie. Keep up the good work - YOU BOTH ROCK TOO. Let me know when she can have a sleep over at Grammy's house.

Mike thoroughly enjoyed himself last night. He said that it was the best Father's day gift he could have gotten was to have his family all together. Mmmmm, does he think that tomorrow is Father's Day? He is easy to please.

Here are a couple more pictures to enjoy. Have a great night......

Sometimes I wonder if anyone ever reads my blogs because nobody ever comments!!

Good Night For Now.

Shopping for my B----- Boy

Today was a good shopping day - It was my day off and it was raining. I shopped for my B---- Boy today. That is what I have nicknamed my new grandson. Finally, as I mentioned in my previous blog, Tiff and Dan got their referral! Yippee :) We are all so very excited and are VERY eagerly awaiting his arrival. I had fun buying clothes for him at a store up here, then I met Tiff at the Mall. I got there first and of course went in and bought more stuff prior to meeting her in the parking lot. Mmmmm, will I need a second job? I think so! Tiff and I (accompanied by the lovely Sophia) then went to Whole Foods. Yes, this was my first trip to Whole Foods and I LOVED it. Maybe I need a third job!!! Sophia was a very good girl and is very cute. She is Tiff and Dan's little cousin and what a sweetie. Then it was back to the Jeep and off to home for me and to Danny and Cheryl's for Tiff and Sophia. Oh yes, I did ride with Tiff and although I was nervous I only said "slow down" once, I think.

It was a great day despite the rain and I am glad to be home now. Time for a nice, warm shower and off to bed........

Good night for now.
